Trusco Oxidizing Filter
There are many iron/odor filters on the market today, from the simple backwashing units to the elaborate multi-tank units with air pumps, degasifiers, micronizers, etc... Chemical regenerating systems are still being used in today's market and do have their place, however as today's consumers look closer at the environmental impact of those chemical systems, our industry will be forced to act quickly to address these concerns.
In response to this... Trusco is manufacturing "The Oxidizing Filter". This system uses the best known oxidizer, OXYGEN, without any of the previously used methods of introduction.
NO PUMPS, INJECTORS, GENERATORS or CHEMICALS!

Utilizing proprietary medias and the right filter valve, we can introduce an iron contaminated water stream into an oxygen rich environment; oxidize it and filter it, all in one tank. Not only can we oxidize iron, we can oxidize hydrogen sulfide and most other metal salts.
